... at 6401 Burnet Lane in Austin, Texas, performing assay services. In 1985, we added a line of findings, casting metals, and small colored stones in an effort to better serve the local wholesale jewelry community.

After 4 years of expanding our customer base, AMC relocated to our current larger space in 1988 and began stocking tools and equipment including the Grobet line of jewelry and watch tools. A year later, Graduate Gemologist Certification was added to provide appraisal services to AMC�s fast-growing business.

In continuing efforts to offer the best assay and analytical services to customers, AMC began participating in the assay proficiency exams in 1997 under the American Society for Testing & Materials program. AMC is one of only two independent labs in the world to have participated in each and every one of the worldwide proficiency exams. AMC now offers analysis on all precious metals and certain base metals.

Over the past 15 years, AMC has been continuously expanding its customer base to serve not only the needs of our loyal wholesale customers, but also the needs of a growing student and retail sector as well. As the retail, manufacturing, polishing, and high tech industry has grown, AMC has expanded its tool line to accommodate the growth.
